(Participant) English E-Auction Competition Information

In the e-auction processes you participate in, you may encounter different competition information based on the decision of the buyer company. Competition details are displayed on the bid screen at the line item level.

The competition information that is visible is displayed in the top left corner of the bidding area.

In an e-auction process, four different competition metrics—Leadership, Ranking, Best Bid, and Distance to Next Competitor Ahead—can be shown to participants according to the decision of the buyer company, either simultaneously or in various combinations.

Leadership

If you have the best bid for an item according to the Leadership metric, you can see a green circular icon in front of the price entry area. If you are behind the best bid, you will see a red circular icon instead.

Ranking

With the Ranking information, you can view the position of your bid compared to others in a circular icon alongside the shared ranking information for that item.

In cases where Leadership information is visible, the circular icon will be displayed in green if you are in the lead, and in red if you are behind the best bid.

Best Bid

The Best Bid information is represented by a green trophy icon, indicating the best offer provided by any participant for the respective item. The name or company name of the participant making the bid is not disclosed.

The color of the icon does not indicate any form of leadership information.

Distance to Next Competitor Ahead

Distance to Leader information shows the amount and proportional distance to the next best offer when bids are compared for the respective item.

If you have the best bid in the process, no additional information is displayed for the respective row.
